A shotgun you are NOT going to believe

Well, Beretta has done it. A 12 gauge that can be shot one handed, fires 12 rounds in less than 2 seconds.

The video is a little over 3 minutes. Granted this puppy ain't cheap, but you gotta give a lot of kudos to Beretta for this design.

woo hoo!

Yet given the choice,
I would rather have that guys shooting ability
and my shotgun, than his shotgun and my ability.

If every American could shoot that well, there would be NO CHANCE of a NWO takeover

What a great shotgun. That is the one I want for the wife. Low recoil, reliable semi auto she won't have to pump. Perfect home defense shotgun. I better look up the cost. It won't be cheap!

But her titanium 38 wasn't either. And she loves it. It is light enough for her to carry without being too tiny a round for effective defense with glaser safety slugs. And the extra recoil of a light handgun does not seem to bother her, though she wanted a revolver so she did not have to remember anything but 'pull the trigger' under stressful conditions.

But a 12 ga pounding did bother her. I'll have to get it fitted with a good recoil pad for her, or 2 handed pistol grips for use as home defense in areas where shorter is better for getting around with it inside the home. Home defense would be its purpose.

There is nothing like rapid shotgun fire to even up the odds if more than 1 home invader is involved.

Re: A shotgun you are NOT going to believe

AMforPM,
On GunsAmerica, the price averaged $1500. BUT, if you are going to buy one like in the video, it has what's called the KO (kick off) system. They all come with a nice large butt pad. At least on all the ones that I saw.

So, contact your local gun store and ask how much for a Beretta A391 Xtrema2 with the 'Kick Off' system. If you find ANY sources that sell it below that, PLEASE let me know.

If I could find one for around $1k (with KO), I'd buy it in a hurry.

Just got the one I had ordered.

Five boxes of mixed fodder later--two words!

And with a full charge it is still LIGHT!

No recoil! Smooth:clap2:

Those are some weak loads. I would like to see him shoot some 00 buck one handed.

Can you give more information on that gun? Is that an ankle holster?

Thanks!

SLV,
That's an American Derringer Model 1 made in Waco, Texas. And that is an ankle holster. It also appears to have the 'thinner' grips on it, but I could be mistaken about the grips.

I owned an American Derringer in .45ACP with an inside the pants holster. It was a handfull to shoot, but given most derringers are used at less than ten feet, it was fairly easy to hit inside the 9 ring every time at that distance.

Yeah, #9 Trap is definitley not buck shot. Hell of alot less kick.

I prefer #4 buck myself--lots of fairly good sized pellets. Extra full choke and you can be accurate up to 80 yards.

Fair statement.

I have a box of 00 left over from last year.

In the morning I'll do a side by side comparison with my wife's Remington, my Browning squareback and the Beretta.

I'll let you know.

If you can't pack it, can't use it to defend one's self.

Its my 'pocket nuke' ...
